
From June to September there is a full programme of activities in and around Morzine for an action packed holiday or just relax
and visit the local sights.
We offer the same flexibility in Chalet D’amo for long or short stays on either a bed and breakfast basis (price per room) or
self catering basis (whole chalet bookings only). The chalet has a large garden in which to sunbathe, relax in hammocks in the
shade and has a barbeque area should you wish to cook outside in the evenings. As in the winter we are happy to offer advice
and book any of the numerous activities available.

Hire or bring your own bike for some fantastic marked mountain biking trails for all abilities in Morzine, Avoriaz and Les Gets.
Various lifts are open to take you and your bike to the beginning of the trails.


Relax at the lido in Morzine old town which has an Olympic pool, a children’s pool and water slide as well as volleyball and five aside pitches.
Surrounded by mountains, the glacier formed Lake Montriond has a swimming lake and canoes for hire.
Water rafting, canyoning and canoeing are all available at the rafting centre just 15 minutes from the resort. Waterskiing and wakeboarding are
available on nearby Lake Leman (40 minutes from Morzine) with a qualified English instructor.

Graded walking routes are available for all types of walking from short circular trails to overnight stays in mountain refuges.


Horse riding is available in both Morzine and Avoriaz for
escorted hacks. Donkey riding is available at the Vallée de la Blanche.

There is an 18 hole course in Les Gets, a 9 hole course in Avoriaz and a Ladies championship course in Evian.


Climb in safety in the high trees at Nyon Cascade Adventure Park
or at the Indiana Adventure park beside the River Dranse in Morzine.
Fly from the mountain peaks of Chatel to the valley below on the Fantasticable; two zip slides provide an exhilarating sensation of
flying across the mountains.
Try Paraponting as a tandem jump with an instructor or just watch the sky come alive with colour for the Belgian parapont championship
held in Morzine every summer.

Samoens and Sixt
A pleasant day drive over the mountain pass from Morzine brings you to the pretty village of Samoens and then on to Sixt
with its beautiful national park and spectacular waterfall.
Lake Leman, Evian and the medieval village of Yvoire
Lake Leman (the French side of Lake Geneva) has several beaches and ports where you can hire
sailing and rowing boats, or visit the spa town of Evian and then take a ferry across to Lausanne on the other side of the lake. Don’t forget to
visit the medieval village of Yvoire with its ancient herb gardens, stroll along the narrow streets and take home some genuine French gifts from
their numerous shops.
